World on Fire is a 60cm x 60cm abstract painting taking inspiration from the destructive wild fires that burns through swathes of forests frequently.

The painting itself is created using cracking paste, pumice paste, gel and acrylic paint on canvas.

Shades of green, red, orange and black are used to create a composition which reflects fire, forest and burnt wood.

World on Fire is fixed within a black glossed wooden frame, the reflective gloss surface adding another textural element to the artwork.

The overall dimensions are 63.5cm x 63.5cm x 3.5cm.
