Cracked Rainbow
Cracked rainbow is the name given to a commission painted for a family and their new flat in Maide Vale, London.
The client wanted an abstract painting in earthy tones and with lots of textures like shown in my other paintings.
Cracked rainbow is made using acrylic paint and cracked clay and it is the largest painting I have created, measuring 150cm x 150cm.
Although I usually like to stick to one or two colours on a palette, I love the vibrancy of Cracked Rainbow and the multitude of colours enhances the texture and makes it so beautiful in close up detail.
