Ethereal Elegance - Golden Horizon

‘Ethereal Elegance - Golden Horizon’ is a contemporary, neutral, textured painting in plaster, acrylic paint, and gold leaf on canvas.

In the Ethereal Elegance series, Samuel steps away from his vibrant multi-colour paints and sticks to a neutral colour palette, pairing taupe and beige tones with white and gold.

For Golden Horizon, Samuel has brushed and flicked a cashmere-coloured paint with white acrylic over the plaster surface, then applied a layer of gold leaf to the bottom portion of the canvas.

This painting is on a 29.5cm x 39.5cm canvas and is fixed within a matching Cashmere-painted oak frame measuring 33cm x 43cm. Both canvas and frame are finished with a semi-matt varnish to provide an additional gloss reflective element, as well as additional protection.
