Wasted on Abstracts 

“Wasted on Abstracts” is an original abstract painting using acrylic paints and clay on a canvas that measures 41cm x 51cm.

Wasted on Abstracts is a self portrait expressing my indecision about creating more abstract compositions or experimenting with new subjects following comments from my other painting 'Picnic'. 

I have used my favourite green and blue colour combination to depict myself and in the brushstrokes that are laid over the figure and the cracked clay surface.
