Where Else But Here?

Where Else But Here is an original abstract painting using black and white acrylics on a canvas with cracking clay medium and PVA.

Samuel’s use of PVA as a new texture was a great experiment, creating a fluid texture against the rough, cracked clay.

Samuel dripped, sponged, and brushed black and white paint over this surface, and used bursts of black metallic spray paint to add a reflective element to the composition.

This painting was created for Singulart’s ‘Another Dimension’ collection, launching in March 2022.

The canvas measures 90cm x 90cm and is fixed in a black stained oak frame measuring 93.5cm x 93.5cm x 3.5cm
