We Are Building A House Together
My boyfriend and I are currently renovating our house together but I am a bit useless at it all and cannot help.
This painting is my most heavily layered painting to date, using leftover building materials and off cuts alongside my usual combination of acrylic and liquid paints.
Other materials include plaster, wood shavings, nails, tape and wire.
The beautiful messy (and heavy!) composition has something different to see at every glance and is enjoyed from every angle. It is verging on sculptural with its thickness and junction of many materials.
The painting measures 90cm x 60cm x 3cm in total.
