Picnic
Inspired by a day at Battersea Park in London with my group of gay friends, Picnic is an expressionist view of my day. Masculine blue tones paints a picture of myself, the fabric of one of my friends ripped shirts covering my eyes.
Acrylic paints, cracked clay and fabric are combined on a 60cm x 50cm x 2cm canvas to create this textural, striking and emotive painting that draws your eye from across the room.
