Cold Shoulder
Cold Shoulder is an 80cm x 60cm abstract painting inspired by the cold weather on the weekend this was created.
While creating ‘Glacial’ and ‘The Garden Path’ for the Industville exhibition in East London in November 2019, Samuel was inspired after experimenting with cooler tones.
Cold Shoulder is a combination of the magical blues and purples that are linked to this season.
The white icicle like shapes and the overall wash of white that highlights the cracked clay surface brings the composition together, whilst the light mist of gold spray paint gives the painting added elegance.
Cold Shoulder is made using cracked clay, acrylic paints and spray paint on canvas and is available to buy from the shop.
