Nebula
Nebula is a space inspired multimedia abstract artwork created using foam, acrylic paints and spray paint on wood.
Samuel disassembled a wooden palette and created the surface for Nebula by sawing, sanding and fixing strips of the palette together.
Nebula is finished with a varnish to give a slightly glossy texture, highlighting the beautiful texture of the wood and foam.
Purple and blue tones are used across he piece creating a vivid, eye catching wall hanging and the white 0's add a graphic element, breaking up the dark overall tone.
White spray paint has also been used for this purpose, brightening the composition and adding another texture element which also reinforces the Nebula theme.
Nebula measures 39cm x 56cm x 9cm and is ready to hang with brass fixings and wire attached.
