Tomorrow's Problem

Tomorrow’s Problem

‘Tomorrow’s Problem’ is an abstract oil painting of an imagined landscape.

The application of blue white and grey oil paints creates a composition resembling a distant city, standing above choppy water.

Samuel named this painting with the environment in mind. He is an environmentalist and believes now is the time to act to save our planet. It feels like governments and large corporations have a ‘it’s tomorrow’s problem’ mindset when it comes to taking action and continue to pollute our atmosphere anyway. Sadly, this imagined landscape of a distant city polluting waters could be many cities in the world!

This abstract artwork was created using oil paints on a hand stretched canvas, applied using palette knives.

It measures 40cm x 40cm and sits within a white stained oak frame measuring 43.5cm x 43.5cm x 3.5cm with a gap between the canvas and frame to show the painted edges.
