Colourfest
Colourfest is part of the Supawan collection, one of four paintings on display at the Supawan restaurant in Kings Cross, London.
Colourfest is a celebration of colour using acrylic paints and clay on stretched cotton canvas.
Using a red background and layering up with tones of blue, green and yellow, Samuel has created a striking and balanced composition.
The cracked clay base layer and the channels of grey pouring paint that stretch across the width of the painting adds another dimension to the painting and further exaggerates the vibrancy of the colours.
Colourfest measures 90cm x 90cm x 2cm and is available to buy from the shop.
