Unique Textured Original Abstract Paintings Made In London

Siren

Siren

Siren is an original abstract composition using acrylic paints, clay and pouring paints on a stretched cotton canvas.

Siren is a striking painting, owed to the contrast between the pink and turquoise colour palette and the contrast between the hard cracked clay and fluid pouring paint.

Samuel loves this colour combination and relationship between the two colours. Samuel wanted to find a balance between the darker blue/turquoise and the lighter pink tones while creating a sense of energy and harmony. The colours were brushed and sponged onto the canvas and the pouring paints were dribbled and flicked onto the composition once dried. The ‘antique pink’ and ‘turquoise’ pouring paints adds another textured dynamic to the abstract painting, creating beautiful details which catch the light and brings the composition together.

Siren is fixed inside a white frame that measures 94.5cm x 94.5cm x 5.5cm with a 1cm gap between the canvas and the frame to expose its painted edges.

Siren was seen in House and Garden magazine and online in Novembers issue in 2020.
